Police Blotter, June 7-8: Nearly $5,000 Embezzled from McDonald's

12:48 a.m. - Hit-and-Run - Occurred on Laguna Circle. RP reports he heard someone hit his parked car and run.

7:14 a.m. - Graffiti - Occurred at Catamaran Park on Catamaran. Park's employee reports men's bathroom was tagged "MOS" & "WVSK" on bathroom wall and parks shed. 

1:11 p.m. - Disturbance - Officer initiated activity at Courtyard By Marriott, Shell Blvd. Verbal between drivers over road rage incident mediated.

3:57 p.m. - Injury Accident - Occurred at Lurline Dr/Constitution Dr. RP reports hitting a bicyclist; injured ankle and lacerations on arm. 

6:11 p.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred at Recreation Center on Shell Blvd. RP reports his skateboard was stolen approximately 30 minutes ago when he left it unattended. 

7:28 p.m. - Found Property - Occurred on Admiralty Lane. Black purse abandoned on a bench.

12:34 a.m. - Barking Dog - Occurred on Peary Lane. Barking complaint.     Animal Control responds to assist officer with welfare check in the presence of an aggressive dog. Resident not home. Dogs secured inside.

7:55 a.m. - Non-Injury Crash - Occurred at Marlin Ave/Foster City Blvd. Report of Xfinity van vs. 8-year-old bicyclist with parent on scene. Child was crossing in crosswalk and was bumped off bike. Fire/medics en route for check. No injury. Child/bike left with parent.

11:08 a.m. - Bike Theft - Occurred at Audubon School on Gull Ave. Black and pink girls bicycle was taken. Estimated loss of $120.00. 

12:52 p.m. - Embezzlement - Occurred at McDonald's Restaurant on Triton Drive. Franchise owner at the front counter discovered $4930.77 missing from accounts.

5:53 p.m. - Commercial Burglary - Officer initiated activity at Orchard Supply Hardware, Metro Center Blvd. Second burglary related to previous case # 2012-0909 was discovered. Crime originally occurred on 06-04-2012 at 1149 HRS. Stolen were 3 drill batteries.
