Police Blotter: Lexus Driver a Parking Scofflaw, That ‘Grinding’ Noise From Upstairs was Music

Friday, Oct. 28

10:38 p.m., Juno Lane: Burglars stole a black Samsung cell phone and a black Toshiba laptop from an unlocked car sometime after 10:20 p.m. The loss was estimated at $650.

10:49 p.m., Beach Park Boulevard: A neighbor complained to police about a grinding noise coming from an upstairs apartment. Police determined the sound to be music, and the neighbor was cooperative when asked to lower the volume.

11:24 a.m., Constitution Drive: A Lexus driver who frequently parks facing the wrong direction on a curve was confronted by police after neighbors complained the driver was creating a hazard when pulling out. The driver agreed to park properly.

1:00 p.m., Tradewinds Apartments on Polynesia Drive: A baby seat was stolen from a storage locker sometime between noon and 10 p.m. on Oct. 23.

 

Sunday, Oct. 30

4:07 p.m. Pompano Circle: Someone threw an object that shattered the window of a woman’s home sometime between 3:00 p.m. on Oct. 21 and 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 29.
