Police Blotter: Smash-and-Grab Burglars Hit Underground Lot, Outside Upscale Restaurant

Friday, Dec. 16
7:17 a.m., Sea Spray Lane: Burglars broke into three cars in an underground parking garage, smashing in the windows of two of the vehicles to steal an in-dash stereo, a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses and a remote garage opener. The burglaries occurred sometime after 3 p.m. on Thursday.
9:52 a.m., Sea Spray Lane: Burglars stole two computer CPUs, speakers and a monitor from a storage locker. The burglary occurred sometime after 10 p.m. on Dec. 13.

10:19 a.m., East Hillsdale Boulevard: A 33-year-old Foster City man was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Sunnyvale. Andrew Gullo was taken to county jail.

Saturday, Dec. 17
1:56 a.m., Crowne Plaza on Chess Drive: Police responded to reports of a fight in which a man was punched in the face. The victim did not want police involvement and declined medical attention.
4:04 p.m., Beach Park Boulevard: A minor aiming what appeared to be a rifle at some birds was detained by police at gunpoint. The boy was released in his mother’s custody after police determined the weapon was a bb gun.
9:34 p.m., Turtle Bay Grill and Seafood on East Hillsdale Boulevard: Burglars smashed the rear passenger side window, stealing miscellaneous items valued at about $300. The incident occurred after 8 p.m.
11:21 p.m., Crowne Plaza on Chess Drive: A Burlingame woman was arrested for public drunkenness. Alexandria Kennedy, 25, was taken to county jail.
Sunday, Dec. 18
2:08 a.m., Beachcomber Apartments on Beach Park Boulevard: Property valued at $80 was stolen from a storage locker. The incident occurred sometime after 7 p.m. on Saturday.
2:51 a.m., East Hillsdale Boulevard and Altair Avenue: A hit-and-run driver abandoned their vehicle after hitting a pole. It is not known if the driver was hurt.
11:09 a.m. Halibut Street: Thieves stole a laptop, a Playstation 3 and two Nike Air-max shoes from an unlocked vehicle.
9:09 p.m., Crane Avenue: A residence was burglarized sometime after 3 p.m. on Friday.
