Police Blotter: Storage Locker Thieves Take Folding Chairs; Laptops Stolen in Separate Car Burglaries

Tuesday, March 27
12:06 a.m., Foster City Boulevard: Six folding chairs and a box of clothing valued were stolen from a storage locker sometime after 9:30 p.m. on Monday. The loss was estimated at $200.
11:52 p.m., Foster City Boulevard and Bounty Drive: An burglar wearing a black hooded jacket with white stripes and Adidas sweatpants tried to pry open a mailbox.

8:36 a.m., Comet Drive: A vehicle was stolen sometime after 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
5:21 p.m., Beach Park Boulevard: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication. Matthew M. Rankin, 22, was taken to First Chance, a San Carlos treatment center.
6:35 p.m., Edgewater Boulevard: A laptop, a watch and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from a parked car sometime after 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
8:44 p.m., El Torito on Vintage Park Drive: A backpack containing a Dell laptop, and iPad and an iPod touch were stolen in a car burglary in which a rear window was smashed in. The incident occurred sometime after 7 p.m.
