Police Blotter: Taggers Deface Teen Center with Gang Graffiti; Burglars Lift Motorized Bike

Tuesday, Dec. 27
8:58 a.m., Bounty Drive: A motorized bicycle valued at about $800 was stolen from a porch area sometime after 8 p.m. on Monday. The thieves cut the lock of a men’s black Schwinn 14-speed World Explorer with an aftermarket motor on the front wheel.
3:17 p.m., The Vibe Teen Center on Shell Boulevard: Taggers defaced the teen center's entrance, spraying gang graffiti on cement seating.

4:15 p.m., Tradewinds Apartments on Polynesia Drive: Burglars stole miscellaneous items valued at about $100 from a carport storage locker by cutting the lock sometime after 8 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 28
4:31 p.m., Egert Street: Thieves siphoned about 17 gallons from a vehicle sometime after Dec. 22.
11:12 p.m., Foster City Boulevard and Bounty Drive: A San Jose man was arrested for driving under the influence. Michael J. Sierra, 26, was taken to First Chance, a San Carlos treatment center.
