Police Blotter: Thieves Swipe High-End Bikes, Cat Converter, in Separate Heists

Monday, Nov. 21
7:19 a.m., Admiralty Lane: Two locked bicycles were stolen from a garage parking stall sometime after 6 p.m. on Sunday. The blue and white Specialized road bike and white and turquoise Trek mountain bike are valued at a combined $1,700.
8:34 a.m., Port Royal Park on Port Royal Avenue: A vandal drove a vehicle on park grass causing unspecified damage. The incident occurred sometime after Nov. 18 at noon.

1:57 p.m., Costco on Metro Center Boulevard: A 40-year-old East Palo Alto woman was arrested on an outstanding no-bail warrant. Blanca Medrano (aka Blanca Mendoza) was taken to county jail.

Tuesday, Nov. 22
6:08 p.m., Flying Fish Street: A Foster City woman involved in single-vehicle collision was arrested for driving under the influence. Sakae Yuizumi, 51, was taken to First Chance treatment center in San Carlos. No injuries were reported in the collision.
9:08 p.m., Edgewater Boulevard: A catalytic converter valued at about $300 was stolen from a parked vehicle sometime between 6 p.m. on Nov. 18 and 7:20 a.m. on Nov. 22.
