Police Blotter: Thrown McNugget Sparks Chase; Big Toys 'R' Us Spender an ID Thief

Friday, March 23

3:25 p.m., Audubon School on Gull Avenue: Vandals smashed in the front passenger window of a parked car. The incident occurred sometime between 12:30 and 3 p.m.

7:41 p.m., Baja Fresh on East Hillsdale Boulevard: The victim of a thrown chicken McNugget at The Vibe Teen Center chased his juvenile assailant down Shell Boulevard, but he ended the pursuit when he saw him on the phone at Baja Fresh on East Hillsdale Boulevard. Police admonished the boy who threw the McNugget.

Monday, March 26

3:01 p.m., Crane Avenue: A 21-year-old San Mateo resident was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Tevita Baker was taken to First Chance, a San Carlos treatment center.

5:13 p.m., 99 Ranch Market on Foster City Boulevard: An unlocked bicycle left unattended for three weeks was stolen. The GMC Denali 7-speed bike had a saddle bag.
