Police Log, Nov. 16-18: Person Grabs Wild Goose

Friday, Nov. 16, 2012

9:35 a.m. - Suspicious Vehicle - Officer initiated activity at Gull Ave/Crane Ave. 2 subjects contacted sleeping in a vehicle. Subjects Fi'd, advised of the city ordinance and sent on their way.

2:19 p.m. - Shoplifting - Occurred at Safeway Supermarket on E Hillsdale Blvd. Suspected shoplifter being detained in front. 

7:31 p.m. - Fraud - Occurred on Marlin Ave. Citz at the front counter rpts fraudulent use of his ATM card; occurred on 11-14-12.

7:50 p.m. - Disturbance - Occurred on Gull Ave. Rp rpts a verbal altercation with a roommate over the return of a key. Both parties contacted; one party left and will not be returning.

8:27 p.m. - Disturbance - Occurred at Emerald Bay on Emerald Bay Ln. Report of three vehicles and approximately four associated subjects hanging out in the rear of the parking lot. One subject - a male in a dark jacket - was seen urinating. RP believes they are not residents. Subjects had been visiting a resident and are just leaving.

11:31 p.m. - Hit-and-Run - Occurred at E Hillsdale Blvd/Altair Ave. Cyclist reports a black Honda Accord which swerved out of control and hit an electrical box, before continuing on EB on EHB and turned south on Altair. Area check made with negative results.

Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012

12:22 a.m. - Resisiting Arrest - Officer initiated activity at Wb 92/FASHION Island Bl, San Mateo. ALOY,ANTONIO, DOB 09/04/1977, Daly City resident, was arrested for public intoxication, battery on a paramedic, and resisting arrest Transported to CJ after medical clearance at San Mateo County General Hospital.

8:45 a.m. - Commercial Burglary - Occurred at Mariner Medical Center on E Hillsdale Blvd. Rp rpts employees found several doors forced open when they arrived at work. Occurred between 11/16/12 1715hrs & 2000hrs.

2:45 p.m. - Commercial Burglary - Occurred at Cvs Pharmacy on E Hillsdale Blvd. Report of a shoplifting in progress. desc/ WMA, 18-23 yoa, green hooded sweater, subject now sitting ifo the store. Stone, Brain 11/11/92 o/o Colorado was arrested and transported to county jail for commercial burglary.

3:15 p.m. - Assault - Occurred on Nina Ln. Rp rpts his adult daughter hit him. Case taken for assault and battery with no prosecution desired. 

Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012

7:50 a.m. - Found Property - Officer initiated activity at Triton Dr. Sgt. locates construction tool that appears to have been left behind. Owner later located who retrieved the item at the PD.

3:27 p.m. - Found Property - Occurred on Comet Dr. (Hundred block.) Found broken Apple iPhone dropped off at the Front Counter. Returned to owner at the Front Counter.

4:13 p.m. - Animal Call - Occurred at Marlin Park on Marlin Ave. Multiple RP's report a WMA, 50's, brown hair, 6', thin build blue jacket & jeans, who grabbed a wild goose and is now walking on Marlin Ave. towards the levy. Subject contacted and the goose was remanded into the care of SPCA.
