Three-Vehicle Crash Blocks Several Lanes on Freeway
A three-vehicle crash blocked several lanes of Highway 1 just south of Pacifica this afternoon. Four injured persons were transported to a nearby hospital.
The California Highway Patrol has reopened state Highway 1 just south of Pacifica after a three-vehicle crash blocked the roadway for nearly an hour this afternoon.
The crash was reported at about 1:25 p.m. just north of Graywhale Cove State Beach, CHP Officer Mark Johnston said. Highway 1 was shut down in both directions while emergency responders transported four people to a hospital, Johnston said. The extent of their injuries was not immediately clear. The highway reopened at about 2:20 p.m.
