Weekend Police Blotter: A Cab Driver Reports Another Driving Erratically
The following information was supplied by the Foster City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Aug. 26
12:26 a.m., Crowne Plaza: A cab driver reported that another cab driver was creating a hazard by driving erratically. Both parties were contacted and the situation was mediated.
4:00 p.m., Mainsail Court: Someone reported her home was burglarized the day before between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. with $700 in jewelry taken. A report was made.

5:21 p.m., E. Third Avenue: A property manager reported that at 3 p.m. a man and woman entered a business claiming to have an appointment. The two proceeded to walk around the office asking questions regarding the building. It was later determined the two did not have an appointment and were unknown to the employees and were not seen leaving the building. The interior of the building was checked with negative results. The subjects were described as a white male in his 20’s with dirty blond hair and 5 feet 10 inches tall and a Filipino woman in her 20’s with dark hair and five feet five inches tall.
5:30 p.m., Nimitz Lane: Someone reported his neighbor’s trash cans were still out. No violation was given; trash cans placed near residence in the driveway.

10:27 p.m., Bounty Drive: Someone reported a suitcase containing knives was taken from her balcony between 5 and 9 p.m. Upon arrival, it was stated that someone unknown made entry into the apartment via a second story balcony and took the suitcase, which contained a Sony Playstation, a Nintendo Wii, jewelry and clothing, in addtion to the cooking knives valued at $2,000. A report was taken.
Saturday, Aug. 27
12:59 a.m., Triton Drive: Brandon Williamson, a San Mateo resident, was arrested for driving under the influence and transported to First Chance. And arrest as made.
7:29 a.m., Capri Lane: Someone reported a dog barking in the area. The dog was located, owner contacted and advised. Owner will put dog inside. Situation was abated and advised.
11:37 a.m., Shell Boulevard: Someone at the Foster City Mini Mart reported that he believed his contractor stole a couple of tools from him. Other half was contacted and neither party could provide proof of ownership. Advice rendered.
11:42 a.m., Polynesia Drive and Foster City Boulevard: Someone reported numerous garage sale signs on light poles. The owner of the signs was contacted and will remove all signs.
10:11 p.m., Monterey Avenue: Someone made a complaint of drums being played in a garage after 10 p.m. Officers responded and the situation was abated.
Sunday, Aug. 28
1:29 a.m., Marlin Avenue: A barking dog was reported. Officers responded but there was no answer at the residence and left a note for the resident. It was reported to be quiet on arrival.
2:51 a.m., Somerset Lane: Two teenage boys were heard arguing. A parent was called to pick up both teenagers.
10:34 a.m., Gull Avenue and Beach Park Boulevard: Trees were being cut at a community center next to a church and someone was reportedly concerned the trees were city trees. Officers contacted the workers hired to do the job and unable to determine property line. Parks and Recreation Department called to see if trees were on private or city property. Per Parks and Recreation Department, trees were on private property.
3:59 p.m., Tampa Court: An unlocked car was rifled through by Intradeco Sales Company before midnight the night before. There was a video of the subject and a report was taken.
7:33 p.m., E. Hillsdale Boulevard: An Hispanic couple with a child was panhandling by the CVS Pharmacy. The couple was contacted and admonished.
8:13 p.m., Chess Drive and Foster City Boulevard: William Reasor, a La Jolla resident, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and transported to County Jail. The vehicle was towed.
