Alleged LA Burglars Lead Police On Cross County Car Chase
Arrests were made following a cross-county car chase and subsequent crash in OC. You'll never guess what the cops found in the car.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA — Suspected burglars led Los Angeles and Orange County Sheriff's Department on a wild, cross country car chase Thursday morning. The cross county car chase began on Sunset Boulevard and ended with a vehicle crash according to police.
A pair of suspected robbers led police on a chase from Los Angeles to Orange Thursday where they crashed the vehicle they were fleeing in, police said.
Officers spotted the vehicle described in the robberies around 1 a.m. in the area of Sunset Boulevard and Vermont Avenue, where the chase began, according to Sgt. Chris Gomez of the Los Angeles Police Department's Northeast Division.

The chase lasted about 45 minutes and ended in Orange where the driver crashed into a light pole, Gomez said.
A male suspect fled the vehicle and was arrested a short time later while a female suspect remained inside the vehicle and was taken into custody, Gomez said.

The suspects were wanted in at least four robberies that occurred Wednesday night and early Thursday in the areas of Hollywood, central and northeast Los Angeles, according to Gomez.
Evidence of those robberies was found in the suspects' vehicle, he said.
