Update: Standoff Suspect Surrenders to Anaheim Police
Authorities wait five hours for the supposed gunman to give up.

Anaheim police Friday spent about five hours waiting out a man who holed up in an apartment after allegedly pointing a rifle at a neighbor during a noise dispute.
A woman who called police about 8 a.m. said she had been arguing with a neighbor about noise in their apartment building in the 5600 block of Orangethorpe Avenue, and the man loaded a rifle and pointed at her, Anaheim police Lt. Bob Dunn said.
When police arrived, they saw the man on a balcony and tried to talk to him, but he ignored officers and went inside, Dunn said.

Another man, who police believe is a relative, was on the balcony with the suspect and later emerged to take a smoke break, but refused to talk to officers, Dunn said.
No officers at the scene have seen a gun, Dunn said.
