Burglary Suspect at Large after High Speed Chase Ends in Crash

Two Fountain Valley vehicle break-in suspects led police on two high speed chases today - both ending in crashes.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA- Two vehicle break-in suspects in Fountain Valley led police on separate chases early this morning, with one man taken into custody and the other still at-large

Officers called at 3:09 a.m. to Brookhurst Street and Stilbite Avenue saw the two suspects get into separate vehicles and refuse to stop, police said.

Officers chased one suspect in a white Ford F150, which crashed at high speed coming off the Garden Grove (22) Freeway at Brookhurst, authorities said.

The truck broke down because of the crash into a guardrail, prompting the suspect to run into a residential neighborhood and ultimately elude Garden Grove and Westminster police.

Officers also chased the other suspect in a Suzuki SUV, which hit a signpost in a parking lot in the 15600 block of Brookhurst, police said.

The suspect -- Noah Hansen, 19, of Anaheim -- got out of the SUV and tried to run, but police caught him and took him into custody, police said.

Police found stolen goods in the pickup truck and in Hansen’s possession, police said.

The pickup was reported stolen out of Anaheim and the Suzuki was stolen in Fountain Valley, police said.
