New Year's Day: Street sweeping for Friday, January 1, 2021 will move to Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

Please have vehicles and trash cans off the street to allow the street sweeper to properly clean the street and prevent trash from entering the storm drain system and polluting the ocean. For additional information, please visit the City's website at www.fountainvalley.org.

Christmas Tree and Cardboard Recycling

From December 26th through January 9th, Republic Services will recycle non-artificial Christmas trees placed at the curb on your regular collection day. Collected trees are shredded into ground cover material and mulch to avoid disposal at the landfill. Trees taller than 6 feet should be cut in half and have all lights and ornaments removed. Place trees and cardboard next to your containers on your trash collection day. Flocked trees cannot be recycled and need to be cut into smaller pieces and placed in the trash. For additional information, please call Republic Services at (714) 847-3581.
