Coroner IDs Buena Park Motorcycle Rider
A Buena Park man was killed after crashing into a parked blue van over the weekend. He was identified Monday.
BUENA PARK, CA — A 46-year-old motorcycle rider who was killed Sunday was identified by the Orange County coroner's office Monday.
"Candelario Torres died at UC Irvine Medical Center at 10:50 p.m. Sunday," the Orange County coroner's office said.
At 6:45 p.m. Torres crashed the motorcycle he was riding into a parked blue van on the 9800 block of Calmada Avenue in South Whittier, in unincorporated L.A. County, California Highway Patrol Officer Patrick Kimball said.

The CHP was investigating, and further details were not immediately available.
