Ducati Gone In 35 Seconds As OC Motorcycle Thieves Strike Again

A $32k Ducati motorcycle was stolen in under a minute by these thieves in Santa Ana, and it wasn't the first expensive bike they've taken.

SANTA ANA, CA — It was parked next to the building inside a parking garage. That didn't matter to the white van and two suspects who drove up, backed in and lifted the $30,000 plus motorcycle into the back. The Ducati was gone in 35 seconds, according to surveillance video footage released by the Santa Ana police department. The suspects drove into the parking garage in a Chevrolet Astro van with no plates, two men jumped out and hefted a red 2015 Ducati 1299S motorcycle worth about $32,000 in their getaway vehicle.

Cops asked for the public's help in identifying two men accused of stealing at least four expensive motorcycles since May in Santa Ana.

The most recent theft occurred about 5:45 p.m. on Dec. 8 in a parking garage at 15 MacArthur Place, according to Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna.
