Edinger Medical Group Honored with Excellence in Healthcare Award

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. – Edinger Medical Group was recently honored as one of only ten medical groups throughout California with the Excellence in Healthcare Award. This achievement recognizes those medical groups that have succeeded in ensuring their patients receive high quality, evidence-based patient care.

Edinger Medical Group, a physician-owned practice that has cared for Orange County patients for over 50 years, has offices on the campus of Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center in Fountain Valley and additionally, in Huntington Beach. Edinger specializes in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Medicine, and has been consistently recognized for its outstanding patient care and patient satisfaction.

To earn this recognition by the Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA), physician medical groups, such as Edinger, must have exceptional performance in clinical quality, patient satisfaction, in addition to multiple other aspects of patient care. The IHA performance program evaluates approximately 35,000 physicians providing care in California.
