When Stonefire Grill “went to bat” for the Fountain Valley Little League with a sponsorship package this year, little did the restaurateurs know how appreciative the youngsters were. They will find out when nearly 1,000 Little League supporters turn out for the dedication of the new Stonefire Grill Baseball Field for the 2011 season on Saturday, March 5 at Mile Square Park (16400 Brookhurst Street – enter off of Heil Avenue) in Fountain Valley. Festivities include a pancake breakfast, team line-up by newscaster Ed Arnold, dedication ceremony and official first pitch of the season by Marcus Owens (general manager of Stonefire Grill in Fountain Valley). Immediately following the ceremonies Stonefire will be providing slider samples for lunch to the crowd. Tickets are $4 in advance & $5 at door; call Kristin Rousselo at (714) 719-6929 for more information.
