Woman Killed in Warner Ave. Hit and Run; Driver of Silver SUV or Minivan Sought
A hit and run accident left a woman dead at the intersection of Bristol and Warner this morning. Santa Ana Police are searching for the car

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA—A woman run over by a hit-and-run driver in Santa Ana early today died at a hospital, police said.
Kerry Dawn Oliphant, a 43-year-old transient, was struck by a silver SUV or minivan just after midnight near Bristol Street and Warner Avenue, according to Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna.
"A witness flagged down a K-9 officer at 12:10 a.m. to report the collision," Bertagna said.

The witness was in car behind the hit-and-run vehicle and saw the collision.
"They reported that the driver, who was going about 35 to 40 mph, never stopped or slowed down," Bertagna said.

The hit-and-run driver was last seen turning from Bristol onto westbound Warner, according to the witness, who expressed that the vehicle in question sustained substantial front-end damage.
