Disneyland Parking Structure Fire: Multiple Cars Burned
A fire swept through the Disneyland Mickey's and Friends Parking Structure Monday.

DISNEYLAND, CA -- A fire that broke out Monday evening at a Disneyland Parking structure injured at least five, according to reports. The fire destroyed four cars and sent four people to a hospital for treatment of minor smoke inhalation, police said.
The fire, which broke out at the Mickey and Friends Parking structure shortly before 5 p.m. caused thick smoke that could be seen for miles according to numerous social media reports.
The fire was extinguished at approximately 5:15 p.m. fire officials say, and crews worked to mop up the scene clear the structure of smoke.

Several vehicles sustained minor damage, according to the Anaheim Fire Department, which reported that seven people were treated for minor smoke inhalation, but three were not taken to a hospital.
Park visitors were allowed to retrieve their vehicles just before 7 p.m., according to Anaheim police.

"Multiple vehicles" caught fire just after 5 p.m.," Anaheim police Sgt. Daron Wyatt said. "Firefighters evacuated the structure as they battled the blaze.
The monetary damage was estimated to be about $180,000, police said, and arson was not suspected in the event.
