First Bank Makes $8,200 Donation To Habitat For Humanity Of OC

During a five week workforce giving campaign, First Bank staff raised $8,200 for Habitat for Humanity of Orange County. Forty-four employees from 10 First Bank branches in Orange County participated in the fundraising initiative.

“We are proud of our employees who really stepped up in a major way for an organization that helps so many people in Orange County realize their dreams of home ownership,” said Susan Montoya, Senior Vice President, Corporate CRA Officer, First Bank, who serves on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Orange County. “First Bank has always put community first and we are proud of the commitment displayed by our employees during this campaign.”

The First Bank employee donation will be used to build new, affordable homes in Orange County for qualified, low-income families who have demonstrated a housing need, an ability to pay, and a willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity of Orange County.
