Fountain Valley Man Hurt in Wrong-Way 405 Crash
A 29-year-old Fountain Valley man was critically injured when a woman drove southbound on the northbound 405 carpool lane.

A 54-year-old woman was killed and four others were hospitalized following a wrong-way crash on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Irvine early today.
The woman, who was not immediately identified, was southbound in a 2010 Nissan in the northbound carpool lane when the collision occurred at 1:19 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Nissan crashed into a 2014 BMW head-on near Harvard Avenue, causing the Nissan to roll over, partially ejecting the driver, the CHP reported. A 2008 Mercedes-Benz then crashed into the Nissan while it was upside down.

The driver of the BMW, Hassan Kadri, 29, of Westminster, was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, as was the driver of the Mercedes -- 29-year- old Sabina Teodorescu of Fountain Valley, according to the CHP.
Isabelo Millanar, 74, and Zosima Millanar, 71, both of Westminster, were taken to OC Global Medical Center in Santa Ana.
