Fountain Valley: Rotary Project Shield At Freedom Hall - Mile Square Park
Volunteers from around OC are stepping up to assemble 50,000 face shields to be distributed to first responders and medical personnel.
April 16, 2020
Volunteers from around Orange County are stepping up to assemble 50,000 face shields to be distributed to first responders and medical personnel. Rotary District 5320 is spearheading this project at several sites around the county including one in Fountain Valley. The St. Jude Foundation has purchased the parts for these face shields and handed them over to Rotary for assembly. We will need volunteers at our local site on April 17, 18 and 19. We are asking for donations of food, water, baked goods and coffee to feed these volunteers. Contact Marla McGee at (714) 394-5856. if you would like to donate food. We know these are difficult times, but this is such an important project, any donations will go a long way. Thank you to Cambalache Grill, Hue Oi Restaurant and Lamppost Pizza for your food donations!
