Fountain Valley Toddler Saved in Swimming Pool Drowning Incident
A 15-month-old toddler was pulled unresponsive from a Fountain Valley swimming pool yesterday, July 21 on the 11300 block of Coriender Ave.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA—An Orange County toddler was rescued from drowning in a backyard swimming pool on the 11300 block of Coriender Avenue Wednesday evening, July20.
Police and paramedics hailed as heroes by the family of a 15-month-old child, who was pulled unresponsive from a backyard swimming pool.
Officers were called about 7:05 p.m. Wednesday to the 11300 block of Coriender Avenue. They arrived with lights and sirens, according to the Fountain Valley Police Department's release.

Upon finding the toddler unresponsive, the Fountain Valley officers took the toddler, along with paramedic personnel, in the back of a police unit to Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, according to Fountain Valley Police Lt. Ken Hounsley.
The child was revived and hospital personnel, according to reports, thanks to “the quick actions by emergency responders...who saved precious seconds and most likely saved the infant’s life.”

The child was reported as revived at a hospital and expected to make a full recovery.
