Fountain Valley Trash Collection, Street Sweeping Schedule Delayed for Labor Day
The city of Fountain Valley reminds residents that certain services will be delayed next week because of the Labor Day Holiday.

The city of Fountain Valley issued an alert Monday reminding residents of some changes to the trash and street sweeping schedule next week.
Because Labor Day falls on Monday, Sept. 2, both major services will be delayed by a day that week.
The following city alert explains how the schedule change will affect you:
Trash collection will be moved back one day, so Tuesday’s trash collection will be on Wednesday, September 4, Wednesday’s collection will be on Thursday, September 5, Thursday’s collection will be on Friday, September 6, and Friday’s collection will be on Saturday, September 7.
Please remember to have your trash cans out by 6:00 a.m. the day of your collection and returned to their storage space away from public view by the next day.
Street sweeping for Wednesday, September 4 will move to Thursday, September 5, Thursday’s street sweeping will be on Friday, September 6, and Friday’s street sweeping will be on Tuesday, September 10.
