Four People Injured in Talbert Avenue Crash

Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Fountain Valley, a police sergeant said.

The crash was reported at about 10:15 p.m. Christmas Day at Ward Street and Talbert Avenue, Fountain Valley police Sgt. Antonius Spangler said.

“One car was southbound on Ward and the other was eastbound on Talbert and they collided,” Spangler said.

Four patients were transported to hospitals, including the driver of one vehicle taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange as a precaution, he said.

There is a trauma center at that facility. The solo driver in the other vehicle was wheelchair-bound and was one of the three patients taken to other hospitals.
