Colorectal cancer is the third most diagnosed cancer and the third leading cause of cancer death in both men and women in the US, according to the American Cancer Society. Colorectal screenings can help save lives. Please join MemorialCare Medical Group Gastroenterologist, Ashkan Farhadi, M.D., and Orange Coast Memorial Oncology Nurse Navigator, Robin Philips, RN, MSN, PHN, for an informative presentation about how colorectal screenings can detect colorectal disease during its earliest stages. Orange Coast Memorial Genetic Counselor, Jenna Tidwell, MS, LGC, will also discuss how some families might be at higher risk of colorectal disease. After the presentation, FREE Fecal Immunochemical Test FIT kits will be handed out for at-home testing. Space is limited and registration is required to attend this event. Register online at memorialcare.org or call 1-800-MEMORIAL (1-800-636-6742).
