High Speed Anaheim Car Chase Ends in Crash

A high speed car chase through Anaheim ended with a crash, injuring driver according to Orange County sheriff's reports.

ANAHEIM, CA—Anaheim streets were the location of a high-speed car chase in the early hours of Thursday morning. Orange County Sheriff's deputies pursued a vehicle, with three men inside, failed to remain at a traffic stop.

"Shortly before 2 a.m., deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Ball Road, which borders Stanton and Anaheim," Lt. Scott Ostash stated in report.

The driver--who fled from gang investigators on Wednesday, according to deputies--left the scene at a high rate of speed and led deputies on a three-minute car chase. Ultimately, the vehicle stopped at Knott Avenue and Savanna Street.
