Jogger Killed By Hit and Run Near Mile Square Park
Fountain Valley Police are seeking a late model Ford thought to have been involved in a hit and run collision that killed a jogger on Wed.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA — Police are seeking an older model Ford SUV that is thought to have been involved in a Wednesday night hit-and-run. A jogger was killed in the collision which took place near Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley. The jogger was thought to have been running along the curb line in the roadway outside of the park when he was struck, according to authorities.
"The crash occurred around 9 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Brookhurst Street, just south of Heil Street," Fountain Valley police Sgt. James Cataline said.
"The jogger was pronounced dead at the scene," Cataline said. "The Ford police are searching for is gray or tan."
