The 16-year-old girl was walking south on Richman Avenue, south of Valencia Drive, about 1 p.m. Monday when the suspect pulled up beside her and stopped the tan-colored truck facing oncoming traffic, according to Radus. The driver hollered at the girl multiple times to "get in" the truck and followed her briefly until she took out her cell phone, prompting the suspect to flee, Radus alleged. Obregon pleaded guilty to possession of drugs in June 2000 and was sentenced to 60 days in jail, according to court records. He also admitted driving without a valid driver's license.
