Man's Body Found on Street in Orange With 'Massive Head Trauma'

A man's body was found Tuesday on a street in Orange, and authorities were trying to determine if he was the victim of a hit and run.

The body of the 37-year-old man was discovered about 6:15 a.m. on Tustin Street, between Collins and Quincy avenues, said Orange police Sgt. Fred Lopez.

The man suffered "massive head trauma," Lopez said. His name was withheld pending notification of his relatives.

"The Orange Police Department ... is investigating the death as a possible hit-and-run collision," Lopez said.

Tustin Street was closed in the area while an investigation was conducted. Anyone knowing more about the case was urged to call police at (714) 744-7444.
