Marcelle Capps, First Bank Recognized By Women Helping Women
Former Huntington Beach branch manager named Volunteer of the Year by local non-profit
Marcelle Capps, a former First Bank employee who recently retired, was named Volunteer of the Year by Women Helping Women (WHW). Capps received her award during a WHW Volunteer Appreciation event on April 12 in Costa Mesa, California.
First Bank, a longtime WHW partner, was also recognized by the non-profit for recommending Capps as a volunteer as well as assisting with permanent clothing drop off sites and financial literacy workshops.
Capps served as Branch Manager at First Bank’s Huntington Beach branch (16900 Goldenwest Street) for many years.

WHW is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization with the mission of providing the unemployed and the underemployed the skills and resources they need to get and keep a good job. Since 1993, WHW has served over 80,000 job seekers referred by over 275 partner agencies at no charge.
