Motorcyclist Killed In Collision With Cab
Any witnesses to the Santa Ana accident are asked to call authorities.

SANTA ANA, CA – Police Friday were working to determine who was at fault in a deadly collision between a motorcyclist and a taxi cab in Santa Ana.
Reno Nicklaus Carothers, 26, of Santa Ana, was struck by the taxi about 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Bristol Street and Santa Clara Avenue and was pronounced dead at the scene, said Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna.
Carothers was southbound on Bristol when he collided with the cab, which was turning left onto Santa Clara, Bertagna said. The cabbie remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, Bertagna said.

The cab driver was not cited, he said.
