Multiple Vehicle, Home Burglaries Reported in Fountain Valley

Police reports from around Fountain Valley.

Vehicle burglary was reported on Mt. Shelby, Mar. 4 at 12:36 p.m. Drivers window was broken with an unknown tool and suspect(s) removed property from the vehicle and fled undetected in an unknown direction. No evidence or witnesses were reported. Valuables taken from the vehicle were valued at $5,110 while damage to the vehicle was estimated at $200.

Vehicle burglary was reported on Raritan Ave, Mar. 3 at 10:25 p.m. Vehicle was parked on street in front of residence. Unknown suspect(s) used an unknown tool to smash front passenger side window of locked car. Suspect(s) took backpack from vehicle before fleeing in an unknown direction with personal items valued at $2,000.

Vehicle burglary was reported on Adams Court, Mar. 4 at 11:35 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) smashed front passenger window and attempted to remove stereo causing damage estimated at $200. Suspect(s) fled scene for unknown reason without the stereo.

Residential burglary was reported on La Tierra Cir., Mar. 1 at 4:07 p.m. Suspect(s) used an unknown tool to remove victim's kitchen window screen. Suspect(s) removed property and fled scene undetected. Loss of property inside residence was valued at $4,540 and property damage is $30.

Grand theft was reported at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital & Medical Center, Mar. 2 at 1:20 p.m. A police report was request by Loss Prevention. Loss of property was valued at $1,222. No suspects were reported.

Vehicle burglary was reported on Mt. Keller Cir., Mar. 4 at 9:46 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) used unknown tool to smash vehicle's rear windshield. Suspect(s) reached inside and took a computer bag containing a laptop and supplies. Suspect(s) fled undetected. Loss valued at $1,300.

Vehicle burglary was reported on Talbert Ave., Mar. 4 at 9:55 a.m. Suspect(s) entered locked vehicle by inserting tool in front passenger door key hole to unlock it. Suspect(s) also entered locked utility panel doors using prying tool. Property removed from both places estimated at $1,280.

Residential vandalism was reported on Mount Baden Powell St., Mar. 7 at 4:34 p.m. Victim discovered second-story windows had three BB shots in them. One window with two shots cracked. Victim said he had no idea who would do it. Property damage estimated at $700.

Petty theft was reported on Slater Ave., Mar. 7 at 7:19 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) took victim's unlocked beach cruiser bicycle on front porch of first floor apartment. Suspects fled undetected. Loss valued at $230.
