O.C. Coroner IDs Teen Pedestrian Killed Wednesday
The 16-year-old was struck by a car in Stanton.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA – A 16-year-old boy who was fatally struck by a car in Stanton was identified today by the Orange County coroner's office.
Austin Caldera of Anaheim was hit by a car about 6:35 a.m. Wednesday at 11200 Beach Boulevard, according to the coroner's office.
Caldera was treated at the scene and then transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he died about an hour later, according to the coroner.

There was no immediate word on whether the driver stopped at the scene. The death was being investigated by the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
