Police: Man Caught Breaking into Fountain Valley Cars
Police arrested a 22-year-old Huntington Beach man for allegedly stealing from parked cars in Fountain Valley.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA - A man was arrested today on suspicion of taking property and cash from several parked vehicles in Fountain Valley, police said.
Officers dispatched at 12:42 a.m. to the 17000 block of Bay Street in response to reports of a suspicious person going through cars located Huntington Beach resident Matthew Hauhe, 22, and conducted a pat-down search, finding miscellaneous property that did not belong to him as well as a large amount of cash, said Fountain Valley police Sgt. Tony Luce.
"Officers determined that the suspect was responsible for multiple thefts and was subsequently arrested for petty theft, loitering and possession of stolen property," Luce said.

Hauhe, a post release community service probationer out of Santa Barbara, was booked in the Orange County Jail, he said.
