Three Sought in Flame Broiler Smash and Grab Friday Morning

Three suspects were sought in a Fullerton smash and grab robbery at a Flame Broiler restaurant. Caught on surveillance camera.

FULLERTON, CA — A Flame Broiler in Fullerton was robbed this morning and local police want to find three people suspects for the crime.

Officers received reports of an activated burglar alarm at just before 2 a.m. at Flame Broiler located at 1200 block of E. Chapman Ave.

Detectives are trying to figure out if they are linked to other similar crimes in the area according to NBCLA report.

Two men smashed through the front door, climbed through the door and grabbed the safe then fled.

The owner was woken at 1:45 a.m. by her alarm company, NBCLA reported. She was able to watch the footage on her computer according to report and called police right away.

Responding officers discovered the restaurant's front window smashed but it was not immediately known what, if anything, was taken, police said.

Three suspects were seen leaving the scene in a white vehicle, possibly a Chevrolet Malibu, police said.
