Fountain Valley's Top 10 Most Dangerous Intersections

Altogether, Fountain Valley had 783 traffic collisions in 2011, but two stand out as the most dangerous for commuters.

Drivers may want to be extra careful around two city intersections: Harbor Boulevard at Edinger Avenue and Talbert Avenue at Bushard Street.

Those locations topped the list of the 10 Fountain Valley intersections with the highest number of traffic collisions last year, according to the police department.

In its 2011 Annual Report, released July 10, the Fountain Valley Police Department recorded 15 traffic collisions at both intersections in 2011. In all, there were 783 traffic collisions in Fountain Valley -- three fatal. Of the remaining 780, there were 346 collisions causing injury, 431 non-injury and three resulting in “unknown injuries” according to the report.
