Traffic Alert: OCTA Bus vs. Sedan Cause SIG Alert Southbound 57 at Orangewood

An Orange County Transit Authority Bus vs. Sedan accident slowed southbound 57 at the Orangewood offramp on Tuesday afternoon.

UPDATE: 

The Southbound 57 Number 4 Lane was closed due to a SIG Alert, according to the California Highway Patrol. 

A collision between an Orange County Transit Authority bus vs. Sedan was first reported at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14. Officers arrived on scene at just before 4 p.m. and the scene was cleared by 4:20 p.m.

The SIG Alert--closure of the slow #4 lane--remained active for 45 minutes, according to CHP Officer Latosquin, while officers conducted their review of the scene.

There is no word as of yet regarding passenger injury, though officers are on scene.
