Video: Thief Smashes Through Costa Mesa Store, Steals Empty ATM
Though the thief got away with the ATM-- he won't get much more than that, as the business owner says the machine was empty.
A truck driver crashed into a Costa Mesa store this week to steal an ATM machine, but the joke is apparently on him.
Though the person did get away with the item-- the owner of Baycrest Wine & Spirits tells KTLA in the above video that the machine was empty.
The brazen burglary happened around 5 a.m. Wednesday.
