Westminster Alleged Shooting Suspects Arrested
Two men were arrested and are scheduled to be arraigned following the shooting last weekend at a Westminster bar.

WESTMINSTER, CA — Two Orange County men arrested earlier this week were charged Friday and scheduled for arraignment in connection with a deadly shooting at a Westminster restaurant last weekend.
Minh Quang Tran, 40, of Santa Ana, was charged with murder and a felony count of assault with a gun. He also faces a sentencing enhancement for the personal use of a firearm.
Hung Khac Chau, 46, of Fountain Valley, was charged with being an accessory after the fact, a felony.

Tran is accused of gunning down 53-year-old Huy Phan and injuring a 47- year-old man, who was shot in the leg about 1:30 a.m. Saturday at Club Bleu restaurant, 14160 Beach Blvd., according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
The motive for the shootings was not released.

Chau is accused of driving Tran away from the crime scene, prosecutors said. Chau was arrested on Halloween and Tran was arrested Thursday. Tran faces 64 years to life in prison if convicted at trial. Chau faces up to three years in jail if convicted at trial.
