Woman, 80, Killed in Fountain Valley Crosswalk
A woman was struck and killed while walking in a Fountain Valley crosswalk.
An 80-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle and killed Monday night as she attempted to cross a street in Fountain Valley.
The accident occurred in a crosswalk at the intersection of Warner Avenue and Mount Hope Street around 6 p.m., the Orange County coroner said.
The Orange County Register reported the victim was identified as Bich Van Phan, of Fountain Valley.

The driver of the vehicle, a Mitsubishi, remained at the scene, the Register reported.
