1 Injured In Tri-City Crash

FREMONT, CA --All lanes have reopened on southbound Interstate Highway 880 in Fremont this morning after a woman got out of her vehicle following a collision and was hit by another vehicle, causing major injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported around 5:40 a.m. on southbound Highway 880 south of Stevenson Boulevard.

After being hit, the woman was taken to a hospital to be treated for her injuries, CHP officials said.

The crash prompted the closure of the far left lane of the highway, but it reopened as of 7:05 a.m., according to the CHP.
