13 Auto Burglaries Reported In Fremont

Over a 4 day period, officers were busy writing reports in several areas of the city, not just in commercial parking lots.

FREMONT, CA — Fremont Police officers have been busy investigating auto burglaries. Between Saturday and Tuesday, 13 separate burglaries were reported. Thieves appear to have taken Sunday off.

Losses range from purses and wallets to electronics.

  • 42200 Albrae St. – Back passenger window shattered, loss is $2100 in property.
  • Blaisdell Way – No sign of forced entry. A DVD player/radio was taken.
  • 44000 Osgood Rd – Window smash, no reported loss.
  • 43900 block of Hugo Tr. – Window smash, loss was a black back pack and credit cards
  • 4500 Auto Mall Pkwy - Occurred between 12:15 and 3:40 p.m. The window was broken and loss has not been determined.
  • 4500 Auto Mall Pkwy - Occurred between 12:00 and 1:44 p.m. The window was broken and loss included a laptop, iPhone 6 and victim’s CDL.

March 19

  • Officers were dispatched to Panera at Pacific Commons on a report of an auto burglary that just occurred. Suspect was a black male adult wearing dark clothing, in a black BMW 6 series with something covering the rear plate.

  • 4600 blk of Montmartre Park Ct – Loss of work tools.
  • 4600 blk of Kane Ct – Loss of work tools.
  • 41100 blk of Ellen St – Lock cut to gain entry into a work truck, no loss.
  • 47000 blk of Warm Springs Bl – Window smash, loss of personal items.
  • Two separate vehicle burglaries were reported in the parking lot of Olive Garden at the Mowry East Center. Passenger windows were shattered and a black duffle bag was removed from one vehicle and a purse from the other. The incidents occurred between 7:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. No suspect information at this time.
