2-Alarm Grass Fire Burns 5 Acres In Fremont

No injuries were reported in the fire.

FREMONT, CA — Fremont firefighters tackled a grass fire Monday evening with considerable personnel, halting the fire at 5 acres. No injuries were reported and no structures were damaged.

The 2-alarm fire was reported around 5 p.m., and by 6 firefighters were mopping up.

The fire was in the area of Mission Boulevard and Mission Road. Mill Creek Road at Mission Boulevard was closed for a time to allow firefighters to work.
