ACE Train Service Suspended Until Monday
Trains got stuck in Niles Canyon on both Tuesday and Wednesday because of mudslides.

FREMONT, CA — Altamont Corridor Express trains will not operate until Monday because of a mudslide that is affecting the tracks near Sunol in Alameda County, the train agency said Wednesday.
Hundreds of ACE passengers were struck on a train Tuesday morning and again on another train Wednesday morning because of mudslides from recent storms that blocked the trackway.
All service on the train line, which operates between Stockton and Great America with multiple stops, including in Fremont, was canceled for the rest of Wednesday as a result.

The agency then decided later in the day to cancel service through the weekend as well "due to the conditions of the mudslide location and for the safety of passengers and crews."
