There are 10,438 total cases of cases of the coronavirus in Alameda County as of Monday.

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — There are 10,438 total cases of cases of the coronavirus in Alameda County as of Monday, according to newly released county health department data.

There have been 178 deaths in the county to date, according to the Alameda County Health Department. In the Alameda County local health jurisdiction, there have been 10,075 cases and 175 deaths. In the Berkeley local health jurisdiction, there have been 363 cases and three deaths to date.

As of Monday, there have been 509 coronavirus cases at skilled nursing facilities in the county, with 79 deaths.

Alameda County local health jurisdiction has tested 231,149 people to date, with 11,950 positive test results representing a 5.17 percent positivity rate.

Berkeley local health jurisdiction has tested 17,780 people to date, with 391 positive test results representing a 2.2 percent positivity rate.

Across the county, there have been 248,929 tests with 12,341 positive tests representing a 4.96 percent positivity rate.

The breakdown in county cases by age is as follows:

  • 0-17: 1,046 cases
  • 18-30: 2,727 cases
  • 31-40: 2,162 cases
  • 41-50: 1,751 cases
  • 51-60: 1,270 cases
  • 61-70: 778 cases
  • 71-80: 395 cases
  • 81+: 303 cases

The breakdown in county deaths by age is as follows:

  • 51-60: 22 deaths
  • 61-70: 26 deaths
  • 71-80: 48 deaths
  • 81+: 73 deaths
