Alert Neighbor Tips Fremont Police About Possible Burglary
Two people were arrested at the scene.

FREMONT, CA — Two alleged burglars are in jail, thanks to an alert neighbor who called 911.
According to police reports, on Monday the woman reported that "she saw an unknown male enter the neighbor’s side yard after being dropped off by a female driving a grey sedan... The neighbor told dispatchers they could see the male crouched down in the side yard."
Officer Carter was in the area, 40000 block of Linaria Circle, and spotted the vehicle. When backup arrived the vehicle was pulled over. The driver was initially evasive about why she was in the area.

Meanwhile, other officers set up a perimeter around the residence where the male was last seen. The suspect was spotted by Sgt. Crandall in an adjacent yard. A K9 team assisted with his apprehension.
The 30-year-old adult male was arrested for burglary, prowling and providing false ID to police.
