FREMONT, CA — Fremont is the top place in the United States to raise a family, a new report found.
Personal finance website WalletHub identified 180 cities across the country, with researchers studying factors such as housing, the quality of local schools, healthcare and opportunities for fun and recreation.
Fremont was No. 1 on the list, boosted by economic factors, including having one of the highest median family incomes after adjusting for the cost of living, at over $137,000, according to WalletHub.
Fremont also offers exceptional children's education, featuring a high percentage of public schools that are rated at least a 7 out of 10, and many summer camp opportunities per capita
With the sixth-most parkland acres per capita, Fremont has tons of areas for families to exercise and explore.

1. Fremont, CA
2. Overland, KS
3. Irvine, CA
4. Plano, TX
5. Columbia, MD
