• Axon class action alleges company operates license plate database without privacy policy (claimdepot.com) — A new class action lawsuit filed in Alameda County claims Axon's Fusus system runs a massive license plate database without the online privacy policy California law requires, and it specifically cites Fremont police allegedly feeding plate data into that system. For Fremont drivers, the case could determine how their plate scans are stored, searched, and disclosed statewide, and whether Axon must change its practices or pay statutory damages.
